A passion project organised by friends of Midnight Runners.
Midnight 2 Midnight was founded in London, in 2015, to raise money for the Syrian refugee crisis. 150 runners participated in 24hours of 10k loops through central London, and raised over £10,000.
Although conceived as a one off event, in 2016 we decided it was a formula worth repeating and ran again, this time in aid of the The Running Charity.
In 2017 and 2018, we moved our basecamp to The Scoop at City Hall, and raised thousands for London’s disadvantaged youth with The Mayors Fund For London.
In the past four years we’ve raised over £40k and have lost count of the miles that have been run.
Today, Midnight 2 Midnight is still put together by a group of volunteers and friends who met through Midnight Runners and who share the belief that running can be about so much more than just running. When people come together we really can make a difference. And it’s a lot of fun too!
Year on year the event has grown, bringing hundreds of runners together, raising thousands for important causes, creating new friendships and news memories in our city. And we can’t wait for for 2019 to be even bigger and better.
See you there!
